COSMIC GROUND’s first album from 2014 is one of the out-of-print titles we've probably been asked for the most in recent years, and here it is again at last!

ELECTRIC ORANGE co-founder Dirk Jan Müller has decided to reissue his debut dark masterpiece with a 70-Minute Bonus CD of tracks recorded around the same time. All fabulous stuff from the darkest depths of Dirk’s cavernous EM analogue archives!

Solo project by Dirk Jan Müller of ELECTRIC ORANGE, and if you are looking for 70’s TD influenced dark psychedelic electronic music, you need look no further… you’ve go it right here!

First and foremost… if you are a fan for early Virgin period TANGERINE DREAM - yeh, we know most of you are J - you really do want to add this to your collection, because it’s that dark, cavernous style of ethereal Mellotron and synth sounds with modulars and all the other gear that ‘Mysterious Semblance…’ ‘Phaedra’ and ‘Rubycon’ are made of, all performed on equipment from a magical era in the world of Electronic Music.

‘Cosmic Ground’ has four mammoth tracks that include on over half-our epic and it’s great stuff straight out of the “Berlin School” and would provide a perfect soundtrack to some dark, deep space ‘Alien’ style movie, and it has excellent cover art to match.

There are others dong this kind of thing… Brendan Pollard (UK), Mario Schohnwalder (Germany) and Majeure / Zombi (USA) to name just a few, but this guy does it brilliantly well, and as authentically as any I’ve heard!
